Digital Adoption: How AI can help attract diverse talent and empower professional growth

Akilah Foote - DEI Talent Attraction Specialist - Tech
My career path may not follow a linear trajectory, but therein lies my strength. It all began with my pursuit of a Computer Engineering degree, where I engaged in innovative projects such as designing solar-powered boats and cutting-edge home robots. My journey then turned into the legal field using my engineering background in Intellectual Property cases and defending victims of negligent medical and engineering practices. This set the stage for a lifelong commitment to advocating for others, championing civil rights, and forging connections with diverse communities.

Upon relocating to Denmark, I further honed my advocacy skills, focusing on advising companies on attracting and retaining diverse tech talent in Copenhagen. I continue my passion for civil rights through various volunteer projects, including mentoring and data analysis on the experiences of People of African Descent in Denmark.
